On April 9th, we gather at Columbia University* the place where A Course in Miracles was scribed and first took form to celebrate 50+ years of its living, breathing, mind-awakening message. We return to where it all began—not to commemorate history for its own sake, but to gather in the shared recognition of what is still very much alive.
This is a day for meaningful conversation, honest curiosity, shared laughter, and quiet remembrance. It’s for longtime students, first-time explorers, and everyone in between who has ever sensed that there might be another way to see things—and felt relieved to discover there is!
As the Course reminds us, “A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not.” (ACIM, C-in.2:5)
This day is very much about the experience.

We’ll screen two films that explore the Course’s remarkable origins:
· The Story of “A Course in Miracles”: The Forgotten Song (Part One)
· The Song Remembered (Part Two)
Together, they trace how this unexpected teaching entered the world—and why, decades later, it continues to quietly transform lives.
A live panel discussion with Course Teachers and writers: Hollie & Robert Holden, Marianne Williamson and Jon Mundy
Foundation for Inner Peace: Tam Morgan (President) and Laura Fenamore (Chief Development Officer)
Evening Reception & Community Gathering
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Columbia University Faculty House, Presidential Ballroom (3rd Floor)
Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and celebration in support of the Foundation for Inner Peace, the original scribe-authorized publisher of A Course in Miracles.
This is a reception, joyful mingling with purpose—a chance to be together and to support the ongoing stewardship of the Course around the world.
The reception includes food, wine and soft drinks.
These celebratory events are for longtime students, first-time explorers, and anyone who has sensed there might be another way to see things.
