David Blair will be discussing Bracewell’s 1960 prediction that extraterrestrial civilisations long ago created a galactic internet which he calls the Starstream.
Combined with studies of evolution and technology, David will present two possible scenarios for when we might detect interstellar beacons and join the Starstream.
The ASWA July club night will start with club discussion at 7:30pm, followed by a quick break before David will give his presentation. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.
