Workshop's Outline:
The workshop will be Covering the basics of film production for beginners including all aspects of filmmaking and where to begin your career as a filmmaker based on one's personal goals. So there will be one day that's more technical while the other is theoretical about the industry as a whole.
Important Notes:
- Certificates & materials included.
- Attendance is important: students must attend at least 75% of the workshop to receive a certificate from Photopia.
- Full fees should be paid by 24 January 2026.
- Payment confirms your registration. If you do not pay before the deadline, your registration is not valid.
About Marwan:
Marwan Imam is a filmmaker and content creator. He co-Founded Peace Cake, one of Egypt’s leading online video content creation platforms, and is one of the content leads on its creative team, show running one of its main Flagship shows Emsek Nafsak alongside Hazem Ragheb.
Through Peace Cake he has created online shows for Brands as well, such as Netflix, Yangoplay, Molto, Talabat, Vodafone and Mobil.
He started out in Advertising writing and directing commercials for brands such as: Clorox, Vodafone, Pepsico, Juhayna, La Vache Qui Rit, Hair code, Jolly Chic and more. Also performs Stand up comedy and musical comedy and started out his Journey as a visual storyteller as a comics artist and writer.
Refund Policy:
Before 48 hrs of the course: full refund
Within 48 hrs: 50% refund
After the course starts: no refunds
In case of a refund, a 40 EGP bank fee will be deducted if the bank account is not with CIB.
If the workshop is canceled or not completed by Photopia, the full amount will be refunded with no deductions.
