What’s It About?
After being suspended from her job, down-and-out she-detective Cass obsesses over the scraps of evidence left behind from a disturbing cold case. She returns to the scene of the crime in search of a culprit and finds a suspect. Eventually, Cass must judge her own moral compass when assumptions and evidence point in opposite directions.
Inspired by noir films like "In The Heat of the Night" and "Chinatown", the characters are intentionally flaw`ed and must rise above their own biases and vices to do what is right and not just good in their eyes.
"When the Sun Sets" is approximately 15 minutes long and set in our present day context, addressing modern day issues like the opioid crisis and immigration, informed by what's happening in our world today.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED, so get your ticket soon to help us plan seating and accommodations! Cash will also be accepted at the door as space allows.
Ticket fees go towards producing our next film(s), which we will have more information on for the premiere!
