When The Road Meets The Sky - Documentary at CraicFest

Where the Road Meets the Sky is a poignant and experimental reflection on the lives and stories of Irish Travellers, narrated by actor/director John Connors. Connors’ Traveller background is central to his feature When The Road Meets The Sky, which features his grandmother Chrissy Donohue Ward. “My grandmother is a lifelong Mincéir activist and poet, who shares the myths and oral traditions that shaped her life and inspired me,” explains John (35), who says the Arts Council helped fund the documentary.
