When the Price is Right- 3HR CE Agency Law

When the Price Is Right is a 3-hour Agency Law continuing education course designed to help real estate professionals better understand residential property valuation and appraisal concepts. Participants will learn the step-by-step process used to estimate property value, including the Sales Comparison, Cost, and Income approaches to valuation. The course also explores how to gather, record, and verify market data; analyze comparable sales; and recognize factors that influence property values such as neighborhood trends, depreciation, financing terms, and market conditions.

Attendees will gain practical insight into commonly used valuation tools and reports, including AVMs, CMAs, BPOs, MVRs, drive-by appraisals, and full interior/exterior appraisals, while also reviewing ethical considerations and compliance requirements under state law and industry standards. By the end of the class, students will have a stronger understanding of how real estate value opinions are formed and how to apply sound valuation principles in real-world transactions.
