When The Night Comes

Ladies, Wine & Design are collaborating with Pattern to bring you a panel chat with some of the best creatives in our region. We’re gonna be chatting about our worries and niggles, as well as the things that give us excited butterflies. Really, it’s an opportunity to get us all in a room to talk business, our craft, and this thing called life. The hope is we’ll learn loads from each other and alleviate our doubts and fears.

On the panel we have Jo Feeley, of TrendBible fame, followed by Clare Brown, Senior Interaction Designer at Opencast. Then we have, Ade-Lee Adebiyi, Head of Design SoPost and Ross Millard, Musician with The Futureheads and Frankie And The Heartstrings and Summer Streets Festival organiser. Chris O, Sarah and Dan will host the afternoon, and Haylofts have very kindly offered us their space and will be generously providing refreshments afterwards. We’re shaking it up a little and this time, our event will be held in the afternoon until early evening and here’s the best bit, Haylofts can hold up to 50 people in their auditorium.

You’ll notice our panel isn’t just made up of women. That’s because we wanted to include our male allies. We think men should be part of the conversation and they can support our cause further – but we’re conscious not to lose the spirit of what many women and non-binary people love about our events, and that’s to make sure women are the focus.

We only ask that our guests respect the inclusive atmosphere and continue to engage in discussion and idea generation for the promotion and support of equal opportunities for female identifying creatives.

Fancy joining us? We promise it won’t be some wanky networking event and more like a group of pals chewing the fat. Also, you don’t need to be creative in your career, or as a side hustle. If you’re looking for a community and a safe space where your voice can be heard, come along. The intrigue is not knowing who you’ll meet and what you’ll gain.

It’s important to note that even though our name suggests we drink wine, we serve lots of lovely non-alcoholic drinks too. We’d love you to come along.
