EVENT UPDATE

The Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation is postponing EAT THINK DRINK: When the Harvest Is Lost as farmers and ranchers across the state continue to recover from back-to-back weather events.

The events of recent weeks have only made this conversation more important. But right now, the priority is supporting Hawaiʻi’s agricultural producers as they assess damage, recover and focus on the immediate needs of their farms and ranches.

A new event date will be announced. Those who purchased tickets will receive a 100% refund.

We remain committed to bringing this conversation forward and creating space to address preparedness, recovery and a stronger agricultural safety net for Hawaiʻi.

IN THE MEANTIME, SUPPORT HAWAIʻI FARMERS

One of the most direct ways to help is through the , established by the Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation and Hawaiʻi Farm Bureau to provide financial assistance to farmers and ranchers impacted by disaster.

The first round of funding awards will be announced soon, and continued support is needed to help reach more producers as they recover and rebuild.

We also encourage our community to continue buying local, supporting Hawaiʻi agricultural businesses and choosing locally grown and raised products whenever possible.

Hawaiʻi’s agricultural community needs our support now—and building a more resilient future will take all of us.
