This is an invitation from 71BODIES / Daniel Mariblanca to come and dance together during the -When is Now- Workshop in Bergen on the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of June 2026 at Cornerteateret.
In a warm way we will nurture a space for self expression with the body and its physicality at the center. We will also spend time writing, painting and finding new ways to express important feelings that expand our personal stories.
Daniel will share some tools, strategies and methods developed through his works with 71BODIES.
In 71BODIES we believe that everyone can dance. It is important that you feel comfortable and have the wish to move your body while connecting with others.
All type of bodies, physicalities, functionalities and abilities are welcome!

Some highlights about the company:
71BODIES is a transgender inclusive dance / performance company based in Bergen and created by Daniel Mariblanca in 2016. A pillar of the company is to work with/in marginalized communities; in particular communities where the body is at the center of the discussion, like the transgender and the disabled communities / bodies. We want to produce beauty and generate knowledge by using interdisciplinary art expressions as the answer, action and bridge to living in a more open, progressive and beautiful society.
