A teenage “church girl” faces the consequences of her bad choices while her stepfather, the local church pastor, strays away from his calling into the arms of his mistress. They both learn they are NOT their mistake as the prayers of a child avail through God’s Love, Grace and Mercy. This Dramedy will have you laughing and crying all at once.
Cista Lueeeze is a Comic Relief Ministry with a Sophisticated Southern Charm that demonstrates Proverbs 17:22- “A Cheerful Heart is Good Medicine that brings healing to your bones.”
In an effort to be a voice that seeks to unify and strengthen communities, Cista Lueeeze’s Brunch House Theatre, Inc. was founded in 2016 by Jacqueline Gathers, aka Cista Lueeeze. Since its inception, the theatre has successfully performed eight productions at the Performing Arts Center in Garner, NC; the Paramount Theatre in Goldsboro, NC; and the W.J. Barefoot Auditorium in Benson, NC. Additionally, she has enjoyed the privilege of sharing skits and plays at numerous community and church events in Johnston, Sampson, Wake, Durham, Mecklenburg, Harnett, Cumberland and Wayne counties as well as in New Orleans, LA, Charleston, SC and Buffalo, NY.
As a Christian Comedienne, Cista Lueeeze’s divine mission is to uplift and inspire hearts with comedy that is based on Biblical principles and relates to the everyday lives of people. Her practical approach ignites smiles and creates an atmosphere of laughter.
She believes that so many people aren’t enjoying the beautiful privileges of grace and mercy that God has given because they are allowing the situations of life to Silence their Praise and Steal their Joy.
