When Belongings Return

Come join us for 45-minute interactive sessions with young adults from various backgrounds as we explore the role of objects as carriers of cultural memory and as tools for identity-making, representation and heritage activism. We will begin with a short film (3 min.) followed by Tboli object storytelling and handing sessions, and ending with your own reflections on your own responses to in/tangible heritage.
Before coming, please look around your home for an object that you think has been made by a source culture different from your own. Please bring it with you so we can include it in our discussions. It can be anything!
