Wheel throwing is an incredible experience—it’s a fun, hands-on skill that’s as rewarding as it is challenging! Come ready to embrace the process, and enjoy a laid-back 2 hours with friends, a date, or even just some solo time to dive into your creative side. Let’s get messy, make memories, and see what beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces you can bring to life!
Your ticket covers all materials, instructor guidance, and the full experience (but it does not include food, drinks, or the firing of your pieces, which is optional).
Ruka Winewood is a beautiful wine bar located in the heart of Wynwood. They offer small producer delicious wines from around the world paired with Argentinian food made using the best products and ingredients.
The ticket is $75 per person, please purchase a ticket for each guest. Food and Wine are not included. Firing your pieces will be optional and you can decide to pay for firing at the end of the class.
This class will be held at RUKA Winewood on Wednesday 11.27 at 5PM.
Our class is perfect for beginners and will cover:
- An introduction to clay, pottery, and how to throw simple shapes on the wheel.
- Clay to create basic forms like bowls or small vases. During the class, you’ll have up to 3 opportunities —based on your progress and the available time— to create pieces.
- All materials, tools, and equipment (including the wheel) are provided.
- Firing is not included in the class, you get to choose what you’d like to do next.
- At the end of the session, you’ll have the option to fire and finish any pieces for $10 each. If you decide not to keep or fire your work, no worries—you’ll still walk away with a fun, hands-on experience!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that things can come up at the last minute, which is why we offer a cancellation policy, in which we will grant a full refund of your ticket price if you give us a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before this event. Please do so via email at [email protected]
Cancellations any time after that will not be refunded.

The process to prepare your pieces takes about 6 weeks. Please be patient and do not contact us until then. We are a small team trying to process pieces as fast as Ceramics can be processed, and it is hard for us to keep up with incoming communications. Thank you for your patience! You will receive an email from our team once they are ready with pick up information.
