Wheel of the Year: Samhain & Ancestors

Join us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after.
This week: Samhain & Ancestors
The veil is thin and the dark half of the year has arrived, so we're spending this Wednesday with the ones who came before us. We'll look at Samhain's roots, from the Gaelic fire festival to All Hallows' Eve and why we put on masks, and at our plans for Saturday's ritual. Then we'll talk about ancestors, all of them. That means the blood lines that shaped our bodies (epigenetics included), the spiritual and chosen ancestors whose work we carry on, and the gifts, lessons, and sometimes debts they pass down to us. Whether you have a long-standing ancestor altar or you're just starting to wonder where you come from, there's a seat for you at the table.
