Minimum distance on trail 25 miles.
Coordinated group rides.
Two main camps. One at newago an one at sandy beach
3 day ride. It’s 46 mile trail system 2 way trail
Day 1 Friday will be self coordinated trail ride and set up camp. Host will be having a meet/greet at newago campground Friday evening.
Day 2 A.M groups of 4 or less newago to sandy beach. Half
P.m groups of 4 from sandy beach to newago.
Host will be having a potluck style dinner (bring a dish to pass)in newago campground Saturday evening an coordinating for a final trail day.
Night ride from newago campground to the dam an back. Alternative option for a street ride if you got the juice.
Day 3 A.M group ride (decided by group after day 2)
The long goodbye lunch at local tavern or restaurant.
Routes an rides are coordinated to minimize contact with local walkers an opposite running mtb folks. It’s mainly busy between the hours of 10 am to 7 pm so I’m planning the rides for early starts and late starts for day two and three to get the most out of our rides. I wish that we all could run as a big group but I would like to accommodate the individual experience of this trail for us,the other riders, and hikers of the trail.
Plenty of areas with water and bathrooms along the way with a supply vehicle halfway for the a.m an p.m runs on day two. You can add your own supplies to the vehicle before each session starts. Coolers food ext…
Will have none riders with a pickup truck prepared for any and all situations due to break downs low batteries or injuries during Saturday an Sunday rides.
Looking for a co host to help with base camp site 1 at the sandy beach campground.
There is no limit on your wheel size.
I don’t care if you have insurance or not. Ride at your own speed and risk.
There is diamond level sections on both runs. Big climbs
Jump sections
Flow sections
Dirt tire is suggested.
Ridge line switch backs. (Think bloomer but taller ridges with better maintained trails)
Trail types and conditions will change as you progress each section. Section 7 through 9 can be challenging and will map out work arounds if you or your wheel is not up to it. All this will be explained at the meet and greet.
A full itinerary will be available two weeks before the ride.
As a family man I organize my events to be family accommodating. Bring the family along. Though they won’t be on the ride they can still spend a great weekend exploring the area with and without you.
There are a couple parks and beach’s in the area.
I could use some volunteers for this event.

I also want to set up a portable work station at one of the camps. Tools an area to maintenance or fix wheels if need be.
