The City of Wheaton's Fine & Cultural Arts Committee has invited the Chicago Urban Sketchers to participate in sketch documenting this year's Wheaton Arts Weekend on June 19th-21st! The weekend will be full of live art, live music, and plenty of sketch opportunities!
Some of the Featured Events:
Friday, June 19th at 4:30pm - The Gospel According to Blues at Wheaton Public Library's new outdoor plaza
Saturday, June 20th -
2-5pm - Murals, Mocktails and Music on Hale Street
5-9:30pm - Gospel Blues Night at Memorial Park
Sunday, June 21st - Make Music Wheaton - starting at 11am, a live, free musical celebration on the longest day of the year with performers on sidewalks, parks and venues throughout the city
Come and go to these events throughout the weekend as you want. The concerts are free. Bring chairs or blankets to the park to enjoy the musical acts, and bring your favorite art supplies to capture the excitement of the weekend!
