Don't miss this Better Prepared Wildfire Series on Wednesday, July 15, 6 to 8 p.m., in the Rogue River Room at Southern Oregon University Stevenson Union. This program is hosted by Ashland.news and will feature our Emergency Management Coordinator Kelly Burns, and our longtime volunteer and Wildfire Risk Reduction Specialist Charisse Sydoriak.
This interactive workshop is designed to help Ashland residents develop preparedness strategies and critical thinking skills that will help you be ready when wildfire threatens. You'll also learn the latest on Ashland's evacuation zones, how to sign up for evacuation notices and emergency alerts, what to put in your go-bags, and how to be ready for the unpredictable.
