In any emergency planning, the WI plays a key role. We need to be prepared for all sorts of emergencies. In this month's meeting, our Climate Ambassador Sue Smith will update us on the campaign for clean rivers and wildlife, and members will discuss how to manage in an emergency. We are a friendly and active group, offering membership to women of 16 and over. In addition to enjoying monthly meetings with a varied selection of speakers and activities (not to mention home-made cake!), we offer group outings (such as door to door trips to London exhibitions), hands on craft workshops (glass fusing coming up soon) and opportunities to make a difference by getting involved in our environmental and social campaign activities.
Guests welcome (including men!). Admission fee for non members £5 (refundable from annual subscription should you then enrol as a member).
