About this Event

What We're Made Of:
A Cultural Heritage Storytelling Workshop

Join us for an interactive storytelling workshop as part of the art exhibition, What We're Made Of. Together, we'll explore the memories, traditions, and experiences that have shaped our lives and discover the cultural heritage woven through our personal stories.

Through guided conversation, you'll reflect on the people, places, traditions, and defining moments that have influenced your journey. As we share our stories, we'll uncover the cultural values, beliefs, and experiences passed from one generation to the next, revealing not only what makes each of us unique, but also the shared threads that connect us all.

Whether your roots are in Rugby, the Philippines, or anywhere else in the world, your story matters.

No writing or public speaking experience is needed. You're welcome to bring a treasured photograph or meaningful object to inspire your storytelling, although this is entirely optional.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who enjoys:
• Family history and genealogy
• Cultural heritage and traditions
• Meaningful conversations and community connection
• Listening, sharing, and celebrating diverse life stories

Come and celebrate what we're made of, because every story reveals something about the heritage that shaped us and the legacy we leave for those who follow.
