When their mother dies of an overdose, a resourceful teenager and her younger sister hide the body, fearing they’ll be separated by the foster-care system. But as a concerned cop (Jesse Williams) and their mom’s menacing ex get closer to the truth, the girls must decide how far they’ll go to keep their secret.
Writer and director Dan Kay and actor/producer/activist Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy) will join us for a post-film conversation, which will be moderated by Sam Adams, senior editor at SLATE. A portion of proceeds will benefit Eluna.
