About this Event

Know you'd like investment but unsure where to start? Been working on a pitch deck and unsure exactly what to include? You’re invited to join Jess Grocutt, Enterprise Acceleration Manager for NatWest as she’ll help you break down your pitch into its component parts.

You’ll come away with a clear understanding around what to put in and leave out and how to structure for maximum impact.

You’ll receive all the tools, tips and hints for you to crack on with creating a pitch deck you’re confident in and proud of.

We’ll also share some great practical tips when pitching to an audience.

Jess Grocutt manages NatWest’s Entrepreneur Accelerator in Manchester, a funded programme that empowers UK entrepreneurs to scale their business to the next level. Jess has supported 100’s of entrepreneurs from across a number of industries, working with them to grow and scale their businesses. As an advocate for inclusive entrepreneurship, Jess is involved with a number of initiatives designed to build the confidence of diverse founders to drive their business forward, including the TiE UK North Women’s Advisory Board and more recently, Meta’s She Means Business programme.

Sam Hields from the newly-formed York Angels investor network will be joining Jess to discuss how they invest and support start-ups in York.
