About this Event

Youth Incarceration: Stories of Resilience, Resistance, and Restoration

An original production created and performed by WombWork's Summer Teen Ensemble.

Through personal stories, original writing, and performance, young artists explore the realities of the juvenile justice system, the school-to-Pr*son pipeline, and the impact these systems have on youth, families, and communities. Moving beyond statistics and stereotypes, What They Don't See challenges audiences to confront difficult truths, imagine new possibilities, and explore pathways toward healing, justice, and change.

This performance is part of Many Hands, One Voice, WombWork's 30th anniversary summer campaign. For 30 years, WombWork has used arts and culture to raise voices, transform lives, and strengthen communities.
