About this Event
BLUEBARN THEATRE Presents:
What The Constitution Means To Me
By Heidi Schreck
September 25 – October 12, 2025
Featuring Katie Becker Colón
Directed by Susan Clement
Back by popular demand-freedom’s still in session!
What the Constitution Means to Me is a powerful and witty play about belonging and identity. It explores how the U.S. Constitution has shaped—and sometimes failed—four generations of women in her family. Using humor and personal stories, Schreck reveals how the Constitution often leaves out women, immigrants, and marginalized groups, making belonging uncertain. It challenges audiences to rethink who truly belongs in America and invites us all to help rewrite the rules so everyone has a place at the table.
