What If You Didn’t Have to Hold It Together?
About this Event
Most of us have become very good at holding it together.
We keep working. We take care of other people. We answer with “I’m fine.” We carry stress, grief, uncertainty, responsibility, and everything happening in the world—often without realizing how much of it has settled into the body.
But what if, for 90 minutes, you didn’t have to hold it all together?
Join Stephen Stott, MSW, and Zaneta M. Gileno, LCSW, CT, for a donation-based outdoor gathering designed to help you step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself through mindfulness, somatic breathwork, and community.
This is not about forcing yourself to relax, pretending everything is okay, or finding the perfect words for what you’re experiencing. You won’t be expected to tell your story, explain what you’re carrying, or perform wellness for anyone.
Instead, you’ll be invited to slow down, notice what is happening within you, and explore what becomes possible when the mind gets quieter and the body has a little more room to breathe.
During our time together, you can expect:
• Guided mindfulness and grounding
• Accessible somatic breathwork
• Opportunities for reflection and connection
• An outdoor setting with shade pop-ups
• Space to participate without pressure or judgment
No previous experience with mindfulness or breathwork is needed. Every practice is an invitation, and you are always welcome to pause, modify, or choose what feels appropriate for you.
