An exploration of connection beyond sight
What happens when you don’t meet another person with your eyes first? In this workshop, we explore what becomes possible when we let the visual world soften and give our other senses more space. We begin by creating a safe and grounded space through conscious consent practices, communication, and embodied exercises. From there, we gradually step into an experience where the eyes can rest and other ways of sensing and connecting can come forward.
Without relying on eye contact, we explore meeting one another through voice, touch, breath, movement, and energy. How does your body respond when you cannot see what is coming? Can you listen more deeply? Can you trust your own boundaries, curiosity, and impulses?
Bring an eye mask or blindfold if you have one.
Come with curiosity. Come as you are. And discover what might happen when you allow yourself to meet — in the dark.
