The Laurens Artist's Coop invites artists of all ages to participate in the America 250 Creative Arts Contest. This juried exhibition commemorates the 250th anniversary of American Independence and encourages artists to explore the theme:
“What Does American Spirit Look Like to You?”
Artists are invited to reflect on the ideals of independence, opportunity, and freedom through original visual expression. Selected works will be exhibited at the Artist's Coop during the official America 250 Celebration on June 28th until July 31, 2026.
Artists must live or study in Laurens or Greenwood County or be a member of the Laurens Artist's Coop.
Each artist may submit up to 3 original pieces of artwork. The first submission is $20, each additional submission is $5, maximum of 3 pieces.
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
Accepted Media Include:
Paintings, Drawings, Collages, Mixed Media, Photography, and Digital Art.
Artwork may be two or three dimensional and may be no larger than 20x16.
