About this Event

Learn the basics of searching for your ancestors using TROVE’s online resources. The workshop will consist of a tutor demonstration. You will also have time to try your own online searching with friendly assistance.

Computers are supplied, and basic computer skills required.

Limited to 10 people.

This event is part of National Family History Month at the State Library and Archives of Tasmania.

National Family History Month is a nationwide celebration of the stories, mysteries and secrets that shape who we are. The theme for 2026 is ‘Family as a Community – Together We Can Do So Much More'.

The training room is accessible by ramp from the State Library and Archive of Tasmania car park on the corner of Bathurst and Murray Streets.
