Join us on Saturday, June 6 from 1-3 pm at the fishing pond at Civic Campus for our first ever Whales & Scales Fishing Tournament! Address: 1835 N 159th Street, Basehor, KS 66007
Registration is required. Spots are limited.
Event is for children 17 years old and younger.
This is a passport stamp event. If you have a passport, make sure to bring it with you! If you need a passport, visit City Hall during standard office hours.
Bait will be provided.
Event is free for residents and is $10 for non-residents.
Prizes will be awarded to: first fish, biggest fish, and smallest fish.
Parking is available at the fishing pond. Street parking along 159th Street is available just west of the finish pond. Additional parking is available at the Civic Campus at 1600 N 158th Street.
Visitors using the Civic Campus parking at City Hall can use the trails to head north to get to the fishing pond.
Be sure to arrive early to check in. The fishing tournament will start promptly at 1:00 pm.
