To register please call the Bill LIbrary at 860-464-9912 or Gales Ferry Library at 860-464-6943 starting February 17. You will need to pick from a designated half an hour time slot.
Delilah is a life-sized inflatable North Atlantic right whale and she is swimming to Bill Library! Her measurements are based off of a real whale who lived along the East coast in the US and Canada, and she is coming all the way from Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Four groups of 20 will be able to go inside the whale to hear her story. While you wait for you turn to visit Delilah the Mystic Seaport will be in the library and you will learn all about whales. In addition we'll have a whale craft and a listening booth to hear whales singing to each other. You don't want to miss this special event that is made possible with help from the Janet Barnett Legacy Project and the Ledyard Congregational Church, UCC.
