Join PCLK President Tanya Smart for an informational presentation on the gray whales that pass the Mendocino Coastline in the winter and spring. This presentation is aimed at folks who want to be "whale docent" volunteers at Point Cabrillo Light Station, helping visitors identify and understand the marine mammals that visit our coastline. You do not need to be a PCLK volunteer to attend, this presentation is open to the public!

About Tanya Smart
Tanya develops and trains the Whale Docents at Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park. She teaches Marine Mammal Biology at Mendocino College . She holds a BS in Biological Sciences and MA in Zoology from the University of California at Davis.
