In the Webster Groves School District, our strength has always come from our people and our proud tradition of supporting strong public schools. That shared commitment has shaped generations of students and continues to guide us today.Right now, we are at an important and challenging crossroads. Like many school districts, we are experiencing rising costs and financial pressures that we can no longer absorb within our current budget. Simply put, we cannot continue operating as we are today without making significant changes.
These decisions are not easy and will directly impact our students, staff and programs. Before any path is chosen, it is critical that we hear from you.
We invite you to join us for a meeting and discussion on June 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m at Webster Groves High School. During this session, we will share more about the district’s financial outlook, answer questions and listen to your feedback. We will also discuss district priorities as part of the conversation about what comes next.
This event is open to any resident in the community. Pizza and snacks will be provided.
