About this Event
Join ’s Advocacy and Education committee for a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, March 11. Bring your own lunch and learn with Women for Women.
Over lunch, we will watch Take Care, a powerful 20-minute documentary shedding light on the challenges facing child care in our state. This film will not only reveal the widespread impact of the crisis but also highlight what’s at stake if we don’t act now.
After the film, Amy Barry, the Executive Director of the Buncombe Partnership of Children, will address the impact of Hurricane Helene on child care services and recovery efforts. She’ll share insights into how we can collectively make a difference.
We’ll wrap up by discussing advocacy actions to support access to quality child care.
