R.A.W. Real Arts Workshops will be leading a workshop at the Wey Aye! Deaf Festival, creating a huge colorful cardboard sculpture that celebrates Deafness and BSL. The workshop will be led by Gary O'Dowd and Alex Vann, and will take place on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Gosforth Civic Theatre. The workshop is limited, and interested parties can email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) to register. Additionally, R.A.W. will be performing their own song, 'TWO WORLDS,' which is about the Deaf and hearing worlds coming together, in BSL and guitar.
