We’ve teamed up with BIPC North East’s PR Expert and owner of Highlights PR, Keith Newman to deliver an interactive and practical workshop, designed to help local businesses embark on their unique PR journey and explore the benefits of using PR as a platform could bring to your business or brand including increasing sales, brand awareness and recognition along with connecting with your target audience.
Through Keith’s extensive PR background, this session will explore:

About our speaker
PR Expert and owner of Highlights PR, Keith Newman
Uniquely based in a floating office on the River Tyne, Highlights PR works with businesses, individuals, and organisations large and small. His expertise has helped his clients achieve excellent media coverage resulting in increased sales, brand awareness and reputation management. With experience of working with some of the region’s best-known charities to major utilities and from music festivals to SME’s, Keith is literally onboard to help with press releases, media training and crisis management.
One of Keith’s skills is the ability to find the best possible PR story to get you noticed by the media. His clients have appeared on TV, radio, magazines, and national and local press. His voluntary work has also given him a wealth of experience which he passes on to his clients. He is the National PR Manager for the nautical charity, The Maritime Volunteer Service, a trustee of a youth charity in Northumberland and he sits on the management team of the North Tyneside Business Forum. He is also a director of community radio station, Radio Northumberland.
Keith will help you to tell your story to the media and to potential new customers so that your brand and business becomes better known.
