Join us for the next event in our “Beautiful Ohio” lecture series when we welcome Mark Dilley, Chief Scientist at MAD Scientist Associates and champion of Ohio’s precious wetland ecosystems.Mark brings over three decades of expertise in wetland science, field biology, ecology, and environmental studies. His presentation, Wetlands are Worth It! The Value of Wetland Restoration to Wildlife and Human Communities will highlight the basics of what a wetland is, ecosystem services of wetlands, and exciting restoration efforts in Ohio.
Wetlands are among the most biologically diverse ecosystems in the world, comparable to rainforests and coral reefs. They harbor many endangered species and provide critical habitat for migratory birds and other wildlife.
