Wet Plate Collodion

Over this four-hour workshop, you will shoot with a large-format camera, coat and develop your own plate, learn the basics of the chemistry involved, and create a unique image using this captivating historical method.For those excited by the alchemy of photography, this workshop offers a hands-on look at one of the oldest image-making processes. It invites experimentation, slowness, and a deeper appreciation for the materiality of the photographic image.
