Jonny Hirschmugl is a painter, builder, and a main character in this satire of life. In all his creative endeavors, his main qualities are ever present: nostalgic, romantic, & delusional.
A Petaluma native, his art is influenced by the riverscape story of this town. Buried in the iron facades of downtown's structures, to the labyrinth sewers below. And the heritage farmlands, with forgotten tales, that only the ravens can recite so well.
Jonny has exhibited his paintings in gallery shows and various markets for the last 17 years. His murals can be seen throughout Petaluma, and spanning to nearby places in Sonoma County.
