Wet Felting Workshop - make your own fibre art!

Learn how to fuse wool fibres together to create felt in the form of a colourful piece of fibre art…
You’ll have the option of creating a “felt-A-friend” portrait ( a great activity for friends or couples, reveal your felted portrait to each other and frame them at home ) or simply be called to create a piece of art using our inspiration station. Whatever you choose, you’ll have a unique piece of textiles art to take home with you - as well as a brilliantly versatile new skill!
No experience necessary - you will be guided step by step throughout the process by local fibre artist Roxy Bananas. If you already know how to felt, do please still join us to create some cool art and make some crafty friends...
The felt is made by agitating loose merino wool fibres with water, soap and a little elbow grease until it bonds together to form a strong and durable natural fabric. Afterwards you can hang your art pieces at home or even felt them into an item of clothing (a workshop on this step coming soon!)
