About this Event
Westwood Turkey Trot 🦃
Sunday, November 15, 2026 | 11:00 AM Shotgun Start
Get ready for a little friendly competition, a whole lot of fun, and a race to the finish at Westwood Golf Course!
We're excited to introduce the Westwood Turkey Trot, a 9-hole, alternate-shot elimination tournament where the field gets smaller, the competition heats up, and only one team will come out on top!
Whether you're playing to win or coming out to cheer on your favorite golfers, this is one tournament you won't want to miss.
🏇 How It Works
- 2-Person Alternate Shot: Teammates take turns hitting the same ball until it's in the hole.
- Elimination Format: Teams will be eliminated at designated holes throughout the round based on the number of participants. Our goal is to give every team at least three holes of play before eliminations begin.
- Chip-Off Tiebreakers: Tied for elimination? A chip-off will determine who advances!
- The Final Four: Four teams will advance to Hole 9 for the championship showdown.
- Prizes: Awards for the top three teams!
We're planning for 10 teams (20 players), with the potential to expand to a maximum of 20 teams (40 players).
Team Format: When purchasing your ticket, you will be prompted to put your partners name in - they will not be qualified to play until they also purchase their entry ticket.

Come for the Golf, Stay for the Show!
One of the best parts of a Horse Race is watching the competition unfold. As teams are eliminated, the gallery grows!
We encourage eliminated teams, friends, family, and fellow golfers to stick around, follow the action, and cheer on the remaining players.
🏆 The Winner's Circle: Join us after the final hole for awards, photos, food, and drinks at Woodies.
