🛻 Westside Wheelers Off-Road Trail Ride – Buckeye Hills Scenic Trail

Time to get the rigs dirty! Join Westside Wheelers for a group trail ride out on the Buckeye Scenic Trail. Whether you’re running a built rig or a mostly stock 4x4, come out, enjoy the scenery, meet some fellow off-roaders, and spend the day on the trail with us!
📍 Meeting Location
25555 W Durango St, Buckeye, AZ 🚨🚨Make sure you use Apple Maps/OnX/etc. for navigation. The meet up spot is Buckeye Elementary School District #33🚨🚨
Please arrive at 8:00 AM, fueled up and ready to go!
When parking, please park as close as possible to the building marked with the pin in the event photo. There are other employees who park in the surrounding areas, so please be respectful of their parking spaces.
🕗 Schedule
* 8:00 AM: Arrive, park, and get settled. Please come with a full tank of gas!
* 8:30 AM: Quick drivers meeting to go over the plan and trail details.
* After the meeting: We’ll head out together from the meeting location to the trailhead.
* At the trailhead: We’ll air down together and get ready to hit the trail!
* Midway through: We’ll stop for lunch, take a break, and enjoy some time together.
* After lunch: Finish the trail, air back up, and head out!
🛻 Trail Information
Please take a look at the Buckeye Hills Scenic Trail on OnX ahead of time so you know what to expect.
A few things to keep in mind:
* Most of the trail is relatively manageable, but some steep approach angles may cause stock vehicles to scrape their bumpers.
* The trail can technically be completed in 2WD, but 4WD will make things considerably easier.
* Stock vehicles can participate, but know your vehicle’s limitations and come prepared for some potential obstacles.
* The trail typically takes around 2 hours to complete on your own. With a group, additional stops, and time to enjoy the ride, plan for several extra hours.
🍔 What to Bring
This is a full trail day, so come prepared!
* Full tank of gas (we will NOT be stopping for gas on the way).
* Lunch and plenty of water.
* Snacks and drinks for the day.
* Recovery gear if you have it.
* Air compressor for airing back up.
* Anything else you may need to spend a few hours out on the trail.
Important: Lunch is BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch)! We’ll be stopping halfway through the trail to eat, but food and drinks will not be provided.
A Few Reminders
* Be on time! We want to get everyone together and rolling without delays.
* Please be respectful of the meeting location and surrounding businesses.
* Look out for one another, communicate with the group, and know your vehicle’s capabilities.
