We are an 12-piece* band based in New West. Our swing sets feature:
• Big band-era jazz standards
• Jump blues, swing revival, and rockabilly classics
• Swing dancer-approved tunes for Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag that span genres and decades from the 1950s to today (rock, blues, soul, R & B—and more!)
Westside Swing Band Fun Fact:
Our band includes three generations of Kennedy-family musicians: Father-daughter combo Gary (Drums and Vocals) and Amber (Vocals), and our youngest member Graeme (second Trombone)!
Sickness / COVID policy: If you feel unwell, stay home. Masks are welcome but not required. Masked or not, please respect each dancer’s personal comfort level and choices.
