Jeff Ramsey, Manager of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's Partners in Conservation program, will be the guest presenter. Partners in Conservation focuses on gorilla conservation and health, education and sustainable livelihoods, and habitat protection and conservation in Rwanda. The Westerville Garden Club donates money and seeds through the Garden Club of Ohio's "Seeds of Friendship Program" to this worthwhile project. Contributions of money and seeds will be collected at this meeting. Seeds we collect must be dated for the 2025 growing season: BUSH GREEN BEANS, GREEN CABBAGE, CARROTS, GREEN PEPPERS, ONIONS, TOMATOES plus Cosmos and Zinnia flower seeds. These are the only seeds accepted because they grow well in their mountain climate. Jeff delivers these donations to Rwanda yearly and will speak about all the work being done. Guests are invited.
