Kick off spring with our experienced staff and learn all about horses in a small group setting! During this five-week program, every rider will participate in weekly riding lessons, advancing their horsemanship skills in the saddle. Riders will also engage with our horses in the corral, learning about horse care and maintenance.

Whether you've never ridden a horse before or have cantered across the plains, we want you at our Western Horseback Riding Lessons! Our staff will meet every rider at their experience level and help them achieve their horseback riding goals.

We can't wait for your kids to join us for this confidence-building experience!

Additional Information:

• Participants must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (shoes with a heel are preferred).
• What to bring: Layers for inclement weather and a water bottle.
• Helmets are provided.

To check in your child, please meet our Camp Henry staff at the Nicely Center (upper camp parking lot). Once checked in, our staff will escort participants to the corral to begin their lesson. At the end of the lesson, camp staff will bring participants back to the Nicely Center for pick-up.

At drop-off, you will indicate who is authorized to pick up the participant. The designated person must bring a photo ID.

In the case of inclement weather, we will reach out at least one hour in advance to reschedule the lesson.
