About this Event
Western Climate Forum
Join us for a free virtual event designed for high school and college students in the Mountain West—Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming—who are passionate about making a difference in environmental advocacy. This region is often underrepresented in environmental conversations, making it vital for young advocates to step up and lead.
This interactive session will cover advocacy at the local, state, and national levels, featuring:
- Sierra Club: Insights on driving local environmental change.
- Nevada Conservation League: A guide to state-level advocacy and its impact.
- Citizens’ Climate Lobby & Mom’s Clean Air Force: Strategies for effective national advocacy.
Learn how laws are passed at each level of government, explore the roles students can play in shaping policy, and hear inspiring stories from experienced advocates. This is your chance to build connections, develop skills, and amplify your voice for a sustainable future!
Note: the event will be recorded and published online afterwards. By signing up, you consent to this
