Join us for the 2026 Economic Outlook Breakfast!We’re excited to welcome John Deskins back to Martinsburg for one of our most anticipated annual gatherings: the Economic Outlook Breakfast, happening Friday, February 2, 2026, from 7:15–10:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn.
Deskins serves as Assistant Dean for Outreach and Engagement, Director of the Bureau of Business & Economic Research, and Associate Professor of Economics at West Virginia University’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics. He leads the Bureau’s efforts to provide rigorous, nonpartisan economic analysis and forecasting for business leaders and policymakers across the state.
John makes the numbers come alive, helping us understand what’s really happening in West Virginia’s economy and what trends are likely to shape our local businesses in 2026 and beyond.
