Bring your machine and your patience! In this class you'll learn your way around your home sewing machine and make a cute tote to take home!

Included in your class is everything you'll need for the project except your sewing machine! (Only 5 available) You'll get to take home some beginner sewing essentials and the tote/trick r treat bag you make in class! Please feel free to bring your own coffee, matcha or snack! <3

I'll have two sizes of bags available, one smaller one and a larger one! You can choose to make our traditional beginner bag or a bag your kids can use for trick r treating!

The pedal and plug to your machine (some come attached together as one, some come separately.)look below

The presser foot to your machine. look below

The bobbin to your machine, I have some extra plastic ones but make sure yours doesn't need a metal one (this is most common in older bottom loading/ side loading bobbin machines)

Any snacks and drinks you might wanna have!

WHAT IS A BOBBIN?

• It is for the bottom thread of your stitch and you cannot sew without it! below is a visual of what they look like. If you bought your machine brand new, some should have been included in the box! If it's secondhand, google your machine and find out whether you need a metal or plastic one (please reach out to me if you would like to me figure that out for you, I gladly will!) They will look the similar!

PEDAL AND PLUG FOR YOUR MACHINE

The pedal is what moves the needle and fabric through your machine!

You need the pedal to use your machine, you cannot use it without this (some very fancy machines can but thats rare)

WHAT IS A PRESSER FOOT?

It's what holds the fabric down while you sew, you cannot sew without this. It's infamous for popping off, if you don't know how to put it on that's okay. Bring it to class and I will help you! Just make sure you have it! It can be purchased online if you can't find it.
