✨ Sept 12 | Kintsugi – Repair as Beauty
with Tess Mosko Scherer & Kristel Nielsen | 1–4pm
Kintsugi teaches that breakage can become a doorway rather than an ending. Participants will choose a ceramic bowl, intentionally break it, and transform it through writing, painting, and repair. Words placed inside the bowl will hold what is often unseen; images on the outside will reflect the many ways we meet the world.
Neuroaesthetics shows that slow, attentive mending supports the nervous system—hands guiding fragments back together create a felt sense of coherence and agency.
