EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Join us to see Leonard Bernstein's landmark work, originally conceived as an opera. James Conlon and director Francesca Zambello are paying tribute to Bernstein's impact with the grand operatic treatment. Rather than a small-scale instrumental ensemble, they are unleashing the power of the LA Opera Orchestra and a magnificent cast in top vocal and physical form showcasing the original choreography created by the legendary Jerome Robbins. Inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, New York City's West Side is the setting where the "star crossed lovers" defy the rule of two warring gangs, the Jets and the Sharks.

The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.
