WEST SIDE LAHAINA COMPOSTING WORKSHOP

Learn how to transform everyday food scraps and yard waste into rich, living compost that nourishes your garden while reducing organic waste sent to the landfill.

You'll learn the fundamentals of backyard composting, what to include, how to build and maintain a healthy compost pile, bucket ot tumbler, and simple techniques that work for home gardens and small farms. You'll leave with practical knowledge and a free full size composting tumbler system to take home and start using right away.

This free community workshop is part of the Haleakala Upcycle Landfill Diversion Project and is presented by Haleakala Farm in collaboration with Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and Maui County Recycle. Together we're helping West Maui families build healthier soils, grow more nutritious food, and turn organic waste into a valuable resource.
