The soulful sounds of the sitar, the soaring melodies of the violin, and the rhythmic pulse of the tabla come together in a blend of traditional Indian classical and contemporary Western music. This innovative fusion creates a rich tapestry of sound, transporting listeners on a sonic journey from West to East. From the intricate ragas of Indian classical to the improvisational spirit of jazz and Western Classical Music featuring:
(1) Monique Lapins (Violin) has worked as second Violinist of the ” New Zealand string Quartet ” & Lecturer at the School of music, Victoria University of Wellington.
(2) Basant Madhur (Tabla) Award winning Tabla player who has worked with Grammy award winner Indian musicians & various projects including ” Shades of Shakti , Indo Celtic Trio, India Meets ireland to name a few.
(3) Sargam Madhur (Sitar) Talented young Sitar player of New Zealand who has been featured in Arts on tour projects and many prestigious Festivals & performances all over New Zealand.
