West Hill, constructed between 1797 and 1799, stands as one of the few remaining examples of Federal-style architecture in Burlington County. It is rumored that Susanna Emlen, one of the earliest survivors of breast cancer, may still inhabit this historic home. The second owner, Eliza Gurney, had ties to Abraham Lincoln. During our initial investigation, the name "Abraham" emerged on the Spirit Talker. Additionally, our team has had several personal experiences, including hearing a gunshot, triggering various ITC equipment on command, sensing touches, hearing voices on the third floor, and footsteps. This expansive home features three floors of rooms to explore, along with a basement. We are pleased to have Beth O'Brien as our co-host for this event. Beth is a Paranormal Investigator, Psychic Medium, Reiki Practitioner, and the founder of Spiritual Healing Through Guidance. She also volunteers at West Hill Manor, helping to preserve its rich history. On this night, Beth will be conducting a séance.
Joining her is Britny Rose, a paranormal investigator, blogger, and volunteer at the Whitehill Mansion. Britny represents the next generation of investigators, bringing a fresh and innovative approach to her work.
Our evening will kick off with a trustee guiding us through the haunted history of the location. Attendees will experience firsthand everything they’ve seen on TV, including how professional-grade paranormal equipment functions and the theories behind these tools. Guests are welcome to participate in various experiments throughout the night, but the event will also allow for free exploration, encouraging you to investigate at your own pace, test your theories, and draw your own conclusions. This event is limited to just 10 participants, and is open only to those aged 18 and older.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Dayna's Pink Wishes foundation. Established approximately sixteen years ago, Dayna’s Pink Wishes, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides toys to children who have lost a parent to cancer or to families facing financial difficulties due to a cancer diagnosis. The foundation also offers various forms of support to families throughout the year. Many of the wish list items are acquired through generous donations of toys and monetary gifts from individuals and organizations.
